Temporary AssemblerWe are currently seeking a skilled Temporary Assembler to join our client’s small team in the ST7 area. This role involves hands-on assembly work, using various tools and techniques to create high-quality products. The position is ideal for candidates with experience in assembly work, wiring, and operating hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities of the Assembler role:- Assemble parts and components according to specifications and diagrams
- Use power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers) to fasten and secure materials
- Perform basic wiring and electrical assembly tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure all specifications are met
- Operate hand tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materials
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to meet health and safety standards
Skills and Experience Required for this Assembler role:- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and wrenches
- Basic understanding of wiring and electrical components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them diligently
Details of this Assembler role:- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm
- Duration: 3 months
- Hourly rate: £11.44PH
- Free onsite parking
- Location: ST7, Kidsgrove
