Part-Time Sales and Marketing AdministratorOur client is seeking an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Administrator to join their team part-time. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sales who thrives on building and nurturing customer relationships rather than hard selling. You'll be pivotal in supporting our business growth through customer outreach, project follow-up, marketing efforts, and creating promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities of this Part-Time Sales and Marketing Administrator role:- Reach out to customers post-quote to answer questions and guide them through the next steps.
- Follow up with lapsed customers to reignite their interest in our services.
- Contact customers to gather feedback after project completion, ensuring high satisfaction and gaining insights for improvement.
- Research and connect with potential customers within our target industries.
- Explore new industry opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Design and create flyers for monthly promotions and specific marketing campaigns.
- Help to drive sales of our off-the-shelf products and custom fabrication parts, aiming to establish this as a new revenue stream.
- While this is not an essential responsibility, there may be opportunities to assist with social media if you’re interested, as other team members also manage this.
Key Skills and Experience required for this Part-Time Sales and Marketing Administrator role:- Prior experience in a sales or customer-focused role, with confidence in initiating phone calls.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a natural ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic design tools like Canva (or similar) for creating flyers.
- A self-starter who’s comfortable with independent research and takes initiative in finding new customers.
- Organised, with good attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Details of this Part-Time Sales and Marketing Administrator role:
Hours: 18-24 hours per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs; flexible within 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, excluding Friday afternoons)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hourly Rate: £12 per hour
