Job Description
I am currently seeking a Print Machine Operator to join our client’s team in the Alsager ST7 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company offering consistent hours, and the chance to grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities of this Print Machine Operative role:
- Operate print machines efficiently to meet production targets
- Set up machines for print runs, ensuring correct materials and settings
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal function
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and liaise with the maintenance team for more complex problems
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
- Accurately log production data and report any issues to supervisors
- Previous experience operating and setting machines, ideally in a print or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the spot
- A good understanding of machine maintenance and safety protocols
- Must be able to commute reliably to the Alsager ST7 area
- Hourly rate of £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.00 after 12 weeks
- Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-15:30
- Regular day shifts with an early finish on Fridays
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Location: Alsager, ST7
