Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s growing team in Stone, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop or continue their career in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Main Duties of this Warehouse Operative role:

• Accurately assemble products to a high standard, following specified guidelines.
• Carefully pack items for shipment, ensuring all orders are securely packaged and correctly labelled.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
• Organise and maintain stock, ensuring products are stored in the correct locations and inventory levels are accurate.
• Inspect assembled products for defects or damages, ensuring only quality items are dispatched.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Provide general assistance to the team as needed, including order picking and using warehouse management systems.

Skills and Requirements for this Warehouse Operative role:

• A strong eye for detail is essential to ensure that products are assembled and packed correctly.
• This role involves some manual handling, including lifting and moving products.
• Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment, ensuring orders are completed on time.
• Understanding and adhering to safety protocols is crucial.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or assembly role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• A valid UK driving license is preferred unless you are local to Stone and have access to reliable transport.

Details of this Warehouse Operative role:

• Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
• Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
• Location: Stone, Staffordshire
