We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic who also holds a valid HGV licence to join the team.
This is a varied role combining workshop based vehicle maintenance with vehicle recovery duties, supporting the fleet and customers.
The Role
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake repairs efficiently
- Support vehicle recovery operations when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
- Help maintain the reliability and roadworthiness of the fleet
- Proven experience working on HGV vehicles
- Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or Class 2)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours, as the business operates on a 24/7 basis
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- Stable role within an established vehicle recovery and roadside support business
- Varied work combining workshop and recovery operations
