Shifts: Monday to Friday
Shift Start Times: 03:00 - 09:00 AM
Pay Rate: £22.00 p.h. (up to 50 hrs) / £22.30 p.h. for Overtime (50+ hrs)
Contract: Ongoing until the end of 2024

Pertemps has an excellent opportunity for experienced and professional HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team, supporting our client's operations from their Banbury depot. With an immediate start available, this role offers competitive pay, structured shifts, and a consistent work environment.
Role Overview:
As a key member of our driving team, you'll be responsible for nationwide store deliveries, performing approximately 4-5 deliveries per shift. Shifts average 10 hours per day and will involve unloading lightweight stock at each delivery point. We value reliability, strong work ethics, and dedication to high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
" Adherence to Safety & Regulations: Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with tachograph and driving regulations.
" Efficient & Safe Deliveries: Transport and deliver stock to multiple locations in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
" Time & Self-Management: Maintain an organised and efficient schedule while upholding company procedures.
" Professional Standards: Exhibit a high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
Requirements for Success:
" Experienced and Certified: Hold a valid UK HGV 1 licence with a minimum of 180 days of driving experience in the last two years.
" CPC & Insurance Compliant: Valid CPC DQC, with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses (no DR or IN endorsements).
" Knowledgeable in Driver Hours & Regulations: Strong understanding of driver's hours and tachograph requirements.
" Customer-Oriented: Committed to excellent customer service, with a flexible and positive approach.
