Weighbridge Operator

Weighbridge Operator required for full time temporary role based in Avonmouth, BS11. This is a great opportunity for someone from an industrial (waste, metals, recycling etc) background with strong administration and customer service skills.

• Monday – Friday, 09.00 – 17:30
• £13.81 per hour
• Approx. 15 minutes walk from St Andrews Road train station or free parking on site
• Working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

About the job

• Assisting in the administration of all aspects of depot activities and overseeing all facets of weighbridge operations.
• Recording all materials in and out of the site and data entry.
• Deal with incoming telephone enquiries and visitors to the site in a friendly and professional manner
• Co-ordinate with yard personnel to ensure the correct processing of all loads
• Ensure that incoming/outgoing loads are processed as per weighbridge operator Standard operating procedure.

The right candidate

• Industrial background
• Good customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel etc.) and the ability to learn new processes
