💷 £15.80 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Washroom Operative / Relief Driver to join a busy site based in Yate.
Full UK driving licence (essential min 2 years held)
Hours
- Mon–Friday: 14:00 - 22.00
Operating Industrial Washing Machines
- Load and operate specialist washing machines designed for protective gear
- Select correct wash cycles (temperature, detergents, decontamination settings)
- Avoid damaging protective layers (e.g. thermal liners, waterproof barriers)
- Use approved detergents and cleaning agents for toxic residues
- Follow strict protocols to remove carcinogens (like soot and smoke particles)
- Ensure cross-contamination is avoided (separating dirty/clean zones)
- Relief driving when needed
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Manual handling experience
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Flexible approach to tasks and working hours
- Full UK manual driving licence - up to 6 point for minor offences
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift licence (training provided if required)
