Job Description
Temporary assignment with Parcelforce
Hourly Rate: £14.04
As a Collection and Delivery Driver you will be responsible for driving a long wheel-base van, delivering parcels on a dedicated route, quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of large parcels. This role is perfect for individuals who really enjoy a physically active work environment.
The role will include:
- Planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle
- Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg
- Collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses
As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:
- Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points
- Excellent customer service skills
- Upbeat and self-motivated
- Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30kg
- Excellent organisational skills
- Resilience and flexibility
