Pertemps Isle of Wight are seeking a refuse collection driver to work on a temporary on-going basis. Initially working in the trade department, occasional shifts within collections may also be required.

The successful Class 2 Refuse Driver will be responsible for: 

• Driving a class 2 vehicle in a careful and considered manner
• Collecting refuse, and loading the vehicle
• Working as part of a team
• Taking reasonable care at all times  
• Observing Health and Safety procedures.

The successful candidate must have:

• A valid class 2 licence 
• No more than 6 points 
• Digital tachograph card 
• Fully CPC compliant 
• Good knowledge of island roads.

Experience in driving a rear steer vehicle would be advantageous, but not essential.

Hours include Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm. Overtime may become available during the busy summer months.
