Pay: £20.82 – £23.85 per hour 
Location: Bridgend 
Shifts: AM & PM start times available

Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, one of the UK’s most trusted delivery networks, and we’re now recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support operations at the Bridgend Distribution Centre. 
This is agency work, offering temporary ongoing assignments with regular, year-round shifts — ideal for drivers who want flexibility, choice, and excellent hourly rates without being tied into a permanent contract. 
The Job 

• Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide 
• No multi-drop work 
• Minimal manual handling 
• Clean, modern, well-maintained vehicles 
• Delivering the professionalism and reliability Royal Mail is known for 
• Keeping on top of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations 
• Weekly shift schedules issued in advance

What You’ll Need 

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 2 years) 
• Minimum 180 days’ proven commercial driving experience 
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card are essential 
• No more than 6 minor points for insurance purposes 
  (No DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements) 
• Good geographical knowledge & strong work ethic 
• Solid understanding of Drivers’ Hours & WTD 
• Confident completing manual tachograph entries 
• Able to pass a DBS security check 
• Completion of site assessment & induction before your first shift
