Pertemps is proud to be partnering with Royal Mail — one of the UK’s most respected delivery networks — and we’re now recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support operations at the Bridgend Distribution Centre.
This is ongoing agency work with steady, year-round shifts. Perfect if you want flexibility, great rates, and the freedom to choose how you work — without committing to a permanent contract.
🚛 What You’ll Be Doing
- Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
- No multi-drop work
- Minimal manual handling
- Driving clean, modern, well-maintained vehicles
- Delivering the professionalism and reliability Royal Mail is known for
- Managing your drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
- Receiving weekly shift schedules in advance

✅ What You’ll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 2 years)
- Minimum 180 days’ proven commercial driving experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)
- Good geographical knowledge & strong work ethic
- Solid understanding of Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
- Confidence completing manual tachograph entries
- Ability to pass a DBS security check
- Completion of site assessment & induction before first shift
