Job Description
- £27,815 per annum (£14.46 hourly pay rate)
- 37 hours per week - 7 day rota, bandwith hours 8am to 9pm
- Immediate start available
- Working with veterans who have been homeless or facing homelessness who have moderate to high support needs.
- Your workload will be around 5 to 8 customers at any one time
- Helping people to achieve their goals and aspirations, and move forward with the skills to be independent in managing on their own.
- Working closely with other agencies around specific needs including mental health, substance misuse, benefits, private letting agents and landlords and/or others and exploring options around education, training and employment.
- Write, review and update support plans and risk assessments and take a positive approach towards risk management.
- Previous experience of working with vulnerable individuals whether on their own or in group situations.
- Happy to undertake an enhanced check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- Confident working with and supporting clients across a range of difficult and challenging issues/behaviours
- Experience of maintaining records and putting into place action plans.
- Willingness to work flexibly; with different clients/colleagues and outside normal office hours to meet the needs of the clients.
