Location: Conwy
Pay Rate: £14.03 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Temporary
Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in Conwy, who are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with local delivery driving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (approximately 80% of the role)
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Supporting general warehouse operations within a busy production environment
- Carrying out stock movement and storage tasks
- Completing local deliveries to customers (approximately 20% of the role)
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Adhering to health & safety and food hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in delivery driving is desirable
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
