Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client’s friendly and growing team. This role involves producing a range of textile products such as aprons, tea towels, and other fabric-based items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
- Sew and assemble products to high-quality standards.
- Follow patterns and instructions accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Previous experience as a sewing machinist or similar role.
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.39
- Day shift only – no nights
