About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing organisation within their Supply Chain Management Department. This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s global sustainability initiatives and environmental programmes, with a focus on expanding circular business models and supporting customer operations across Europe.
You’ll assist in coordinating product collection programmes, developing marketing communications, and ensuring compliance within the forward and reverse supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate an established Pan-European Product Collection Programme, acting as the link between service providers, customers, and European sales offices.
- Support operational and strategic projects designed to enhance and improve collection programmes.
- Assist with the development of environmental marketing communications to support programme growth.
- Ensure environmental compliance across both forward and reverse supply chain operations.
- Undertake daily administrative and customer service tasks related to collection programmes.
- Develop new infrastructure and manage or analyse large volumes of programme data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Skills & Knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, with the ability to work effectively to deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Confident analysing and interpreting large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in marketing, sustainability, and environmental innovation
Qualifications & Experience- A Level qualification or above, ideally in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of or interest in Marketing and Communications.
- Previous commercial experience (B2B sector preferred but not essential).
- A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
