Warehouse Manager - BirkenheadSalary: Up to £42,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (38.5 hours per week)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a busy site, lead a small team, and drive operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a highly efficient Warehouse operation, including Goods In/Out and 3rd party movements
- Train, coach, and develop a small team
- Implement digital processes for goods movements, fully integrated with SAGE
- Oversee potential relocation of the warehouse to larger facilities
- Introduce innovative ways of working to improve efficiency across the warehouse operation
- Develop and maintain SOPs
- Work collaboratively with Stock Control and Continuous Improvement teams
- Manage inventory using FIFO and stock rotation principles
- Oversee and participate in monthly and annual stock counts
- Manage yard operations effectively
- Allocate resources to meet short and long-term requirements
- Monitor performance against KPIs and carry out bi-annual reviews with training plans
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in partnership with the H&S Manager
- Ensure appropriate stock availability for production lines
Skills & Experience Required:- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of digitalising warehouse systems
- Experience in warehouse relocation and redesign
- Strong people management and team development skills
- Valid FLT licence (FLT Instructor qualification desirable but not essential)
- Confident in handling changing priorities and operational challenges
- Proficient in SAGE for stock monitoring and control
- Ability to challenge current processes and implement improvements to drive efficiency
