Admin Assistant - LlaySalary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PMWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in their sector, for an experienced and detail-oriented Admin Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and collaborative office environment where you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth transition of customer enquiries from initial contact through to invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Administrator with day-to-day administrative duties.
- Process customer orders, create project folders (electronic and hard copy), and accurately update the company Works Order System throughout all project stages.
- Issue order acknowledgements to customers and hand over project folders to the Project Co-ordinator.
- Retrieve and input Project Parts Lists into Sage software, raising internal and external purchase orders to ensure timely material allocation.
- Reconcile project costs for accurate invoicing, raise credit notes where necessary, and liaise with the Project Co-ordinator to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage stock procurement processes, including booking in goods received and bonded stock, to maintain production workflow.
- Provide first-line support for customers and suppliers via phone and in-person, directing queries to appropriate team members.
- Generate reports using Sage 200C to ensure all customer orders are dispatched and invoiced promptly.
Skills & Experience:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including administrative software, and a professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Experience with Sage or similar systems is highly advantageous.
