Job Description
Location: Llay Industrial Estate
Pay: £12.50+ (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:45pm, early finish on Fridays
Contract: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent (based on experience)
Overtime: Available
Are you looking to grow your skills in a hands-on engineering environment? We're currently recruiting for a Junior Machinist to join a growing team based in Llay Industrial Estate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn, offering progression and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist CNC and copper machine operatives with daily production duties
- Cut, punch, and bend copper to precise specifications
- Handle and process steel work as required
- Read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Operate copper machinery and input CAD designs
- Run and maintain CNC machines
Skills & Requirements:
- Comfortable lifting and handling heavy copper materials
- Basic understanding of workshop protocols and health & safety
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
