Job Description
Pay: £13.40 per hour + Overtime (1.4x basic rate)
Location: Wrexham Industrial Estate
Shifts: Rotating Monday–Friday
06:00 – 14:30
14:30 – 22:30
Additional: Occasional Saturday overtime available
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse / FLT Driver to support a busy manufacturing site with line feed and kitting operations. This role involves ensuring production is consistently supplied with accurate, well-prepared kits and stock.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Duties
- Pick and prepare kits according to the production plan
- Deliver kits to the customer site on schedule
- Liaise with on-site teams to ensure timely line-side delivery
- Perform QA checks on all kits before dispatch
- Follow goods-in procedures when receiving deliveries
- Report any damages or discrepancies to the Contract Supervisor
- Complete pre-shift checks on FLTs used during the shift
- Drive company vehicle between sites as required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Attend daily shift meetings at 2:00pm
- Support general warehouse duties and team tasks
Weekly Duties
- Ensure all contracted hours are worked at agreed times
- Keep FLTs and vehicles clean, tidy, and free from debris
- Candidate Requirements:
- Aged 25+ with a full UK driving licence (for insurance purposes)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach
- Previous warehouse or production support experience
- Desirable (but not essential):
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Valid Pivot Steer FLT licence
Success Measures:
- High-quality kit preparation and timely delivery
- Strong customer satisfaction
- Accurate stock movement and tracking
- Adherence to all Health & Safety guidelines
