Location: Whitchurch
Hourly Rate: £13.37 p/h
Shift: 10:00 - 16:00 must be Flexible, min 20hrs per week.

Royal Mail Postperson needed, paying £13.37ph this is a temporary but potentially ongoing role, with immediate start. Working for one of the best-loved brands, Royal Mail. Workers will be required to bring letters and parcels to people around the country, something that communities across the UK rely on. Royal Mail are strong with 500 years of history and are hugely proud of the service they provide.

About role

You'll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. You'll be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.

About You

The ideal candidate will be upbeat and self-motivated, and as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team, as well as getting to know the different people on your round. You should have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
Royal Mail delivers parcels come rain or shine, so we're looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, you should also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit.

Requirements for this role:

• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Some experience in a customer facing role would be ideal.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Physically fit and happy to work outdoors all in weather conditions.
