💷 £13.27 per hour
⏰40- 45 hours per week / Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7



 
The Company;
Riverside Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, based at their Carlisle depot. They are the UK’s leading fitted furniture and wardrobe specialist, creating bespoke made to order pieces.


The Role:
Is Immediate Start. The working day starts at 5am, standard 9 hour day, with runs/days running longer dependant on delivery locations, with approximately 4-5 deliveries per day.

Our client is a much-loved brand, and due to an increase in demand, we are looking for Class 2 Drivers to support their busy operation based in Carlisle, delivering all over the North.
 
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with an excellent working environment and supportive team culture.
 
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for delivering fitted furniture and wardrobes, carrying into customers homes.
 
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be an integral part of the business, spending a lot of time working a team of 2 or 3 on the road.
 
We are looking for drivers with a ‘can-do & friendly’ attitude as interaction with our customers is all part of the service. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle.

This is a physically demanding role, with heavy loads in and out of properties, so being fit and well is a must. 



 Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• All candidates must have held their Class 2 licence for 1 year.
• Minimum age 21
• Experience in Class 2 vehicle. 
• Valid in-date CPC 
• No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
• No more than 12 Tacho infringements.
