Job Description: 7.5T Driver – Immediate Start

Location: Accrington
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day (shifts may run longer depending on delivery locations)
Start Date: Immediate
Our client is a well-loved brand, and due to increased demand, we are looking for experienced 7.5T Drivers to support their busy operation based in Accrington, delivering across the North and North-West regions.
About the Role
As a 7.5T Driver, you'll be responsible for the delivery of beds and mattresses, often carrying them into customers' homes and assisting with assembly. You’ll typically work as part of a 2 or 3-person team on the road.
This is a physically demanding role, requiring manual handling of heavy items, so a good level of fitness is essential.
We're looking for drivers with a friendly, can-do attitude, as customer interaction is a key part of the job. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring load security and maintaining the condition of the vehicle.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid 7.5T licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
• At least 180 days of experience driving a 7.5T vehicle
• A valid, in-date CPC qualification
• No more than 6 points on your licence (licence checks will apply)
• A good understanding of driver hours regulations and tachograph compliance
• Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check as part of the recruitment process
