We are recruiting a
Quality Inspector to join a busy engineering environment in Lincoln. This is a key role ensuring production quality standards are met and maintained throughout the forge and factory.
What are the hours of work? - Monday to Friday
- 3 rotating shifts. (7am to 3pm / 3pm to 11pm / 11pm to 7am)
What duties will I have? - Inspecting and measuring components using handheld tools, Faro arms and 3D scanners.
- Checking parts against engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Completing inspection reports, SPC charts, and PPAP documentation.
- Identifying and reporting defects, scrap, and rework.
- Supporting audits, calibration activities, and problem investigations.
- Assisting with training and technical support for new starters.
What skills to I need? - Apprentice-trained or trainee applicants considered.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with inspection/measuring equipment (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work across all three shifts (non-negotiable).
Salary / Pay: - Pay: £13.77 – £16.49 per hour (based on training/experience).
- Night shift allowance: +£1.02 per hour.
