Hygiene Operative

Opportunity is around the corner at Pertemps in Lincoln! We have a brand-new temporary to permanent position available for a Hygiene Operative based in the outskirts of the city. Our client is a leader within the pet food production and processing industry, who are offering career progression, training opportunities alongside long-term secure employment.
 
As a Hygiene Operative you will be responsible for maintenance and the general condition of departments within the factory, ensuring they are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. This will include cleaning machinery and equipment, communicating between other departments and general housekeeping duties.

What will I be doing?

• Cleaning down equipment machines
• Jet washing machines and production area
• Adhering to all health and safety rules
• Keep the site clean, clear of debris and in line with the site's colour coding system.
• Be proactive in addressing environmental issues, including spills, and support the management team in site environmental inspections.

How much will I be paid?
The basic rate for the role is £11.78 per hour

What hours will I be working?
4 on 4 off, 6AM to 6PM

What skills do I need?

• A committed team player with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work in a fast faced environment
• Reliable with good time keeping

Due to the location of site, you will need your own form of transport to get to and from work.
