Production Operative

Pertemps Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Operator to join our customer’s production team in Louth. This is a full-time role working over the weekend, responsible for producing high-quality blended materials according to specific guidelines. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, operate equipment safely, and maintain excellent standards of housekeeping.
 
What will my duties be?

• Set up and run machinery safely to meet quality and production targets.
• Collect, load, and process raw materials as instructed, and remove finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect materials, take samples for lab testing, and report any issues to the Team Leader.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on blenders, fork trucks, and other equipment, and report any concerns.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and update stock control data.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance) is essential.

 
What hours will I be working?
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6AM to 6PM

What will I be paid?
This position pays £11.44 per hour.
