Machine Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company based in Grimsby, looking for Machine Operatives with to join their factory team. It will be your duty to manufacture products to specification and quality standards through efficient operation of machinery.
 
How much will I be earning?
Starting at £26,450 per annum, with the option to grow with experience.
 
What hours will I be working?
You will be working on a 4-week shift pattern:

• Week one – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 5:45am-6:00pm
• Week two – Wednesday and Thursday – 5:45am-6:00pm
• Week three - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 5:45pm-6:00am
• Week four - Wednesday and Thursday – 5:45pm-6:00am

 
What will I be doing?

• Run machinery to achieve the appropriate standard of product, whilst ensuring any machinery/quality problems are reported to the management team.
• Carry out quality checks at required intervals.
• Clearly follow work instructions, making sure production meets technical standards.
• Ensuring work is produced in a timely and safe manner.
• Accurately recording production throughout the working day.

 
What we are looking for:

• A team player who has visible contributions to the overall service including KPI targets, as well as exceptional communication skills.
• A highly motivated individual, who can work to their own initiative and show pride in their work.
• Accurate and good attention to detail.
• Computer literacy.
• An individual with excellent safety awareness.
