Flexographic Printer

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently working in partnership with a leading production company based in Grimsby who are looking for a Flexographic Printer to join their ever-growing team on a permanent basis. You’d be joining an already successful team running printers and helping to hit weekly production targets.  Day to day you will be ensure the department is ran smoothly, managing daily orders and maintaining an organised, safe production space.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and run an 8-colour flexographic press.
• Monitor and control print quality, ensuring standards are met.
• Optimise print speeds.
• Efficiently deal with print faults
• Highlight print issues to the print manager.
• Manage ink levels.
• Accurately capture data.
• Comply with good housekeeping, hygiene, health, safety, and environmental standards.

 
Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of three years’ flexographic printing at operator level in a manufacturing environment
• Working with computer systems and computer literate
• Experience of working on a three-shift system, morning, afternoons, and nights
• Have a good understanding of health, safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental procedures.

How much will I be earning?
The pay rate for this role is £17.50 + per hour (DOE)
 
What hours will I be working?
You will be working on a 4-week shift pattern:

• Week one – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 5:45am-6:00pm
• Week two – Wednesday and Thursday – 5:45am-6:00pm
• Week three - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 5:45pm-6:00am
• Week four - Wednesday and Thursday – 5:45pm-6:00am
