HGV Driver

Pertemps are actively seeking several HGV Drivers for our client, GXO, located in Newark. Join us for regular, ongoing work driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, delivering electrical goods to Curry’s stores or warehouses/RDCs. You do not have to unload items into the stores but may need to move stock around to make it accessible to be removed. We are looking for committed drivers interested in long-term opportunities throughout the year.

You will be required to complete a site HGV assessment & induction which is completed in one full day (8 hours, paid upon passing).

Available Shifts:

Flexible shift patterns, work full or part time, the choice is yours!

Start times are flexible as they operate 24/7 so you can pick your start time window.

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday (PM): £18.19 per hour
• Saturday: £20.23 per hour
• Sunday: £21.25 per hour

Qualifications:

• Valid Category C+E (HGV 1) license (minimum two years driving experience)
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
• Clean driving record (No DR10, CD10, IN10, and no more than 6 points)
