Building Surveyor – Exeter

Salary: Up to £45,000 • 37 hours per week • Hybrid working

Based in a modern, open‑plan office on the outskirts of Exeter—with excellent access to the M5—you’ll enjoy a blend of office, home and site‑based work, giving you both flexibility and variety day‑to‑day.

What You’ll Do

•             Lead and deliver building surveying projects in line with RICS standards

•             Provide expert technical advice to clients and colleagues

•             Prepare specifications, drawings, tenders and risk assessments

•             Manage contracts, monitor sites and ensure quality throughout

•             Carry out condition surveys, dilapidations, defect analysis and technical reporting

•             Contribute to conservation projects and innovative repair solutions

What You’ll Bring

•             Professional RICS membership (or working towards chartership)

•             Strong experience across new build and refurbishment projects

•             Solid understanding of Building Regulations and surveying legislation

•             Confident stakeholder engagement and client‑facing skills

•             Ability to work independently or as part of a wider technical team

•             Full UK driving licence
