Site Manager St Austell Cornwall Competitive Salary + Package We are working with a leading main contractor renowned for delivering high-quality, sustainable construction projects across healthcare, education, commercial, leisure, and public sector sectors in search of an experienced Site Manager to join their team on an 18-month fixed term contract. The Role You will take ownership of site activities to ensure successful delivery of projects — safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
Key responsibilities include:- Leading the implementation of the project management plan, site procedures, and documentation.
 - Overseeing quality management processes and ensuring compliance with specified requirements.
 - Driving excellent standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on site.
 - Managing direct labour and subcontractors, monitoring attendance, progress, and productivity.
 - Coordinating handover schedules, keys, spares, and completion documentation.
 - Maintaining accurate site diaries and allocation sheets.
 - Advising on buildability and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
 
About You We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering high-quality, large-scale projects (£5m+), ideally in sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, or public sector.
 - Broad technical knowledge of modern construction techniques.
 - SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS card, in date.
 - Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
 - IT literate, confident with project management systems and reporting tools.
 - HNC/Degree, MCIOB, or equivalent professional or trade-based background.
 - Full UK driving licence.
