Quality Manager

Job Title: Quality Manager – Civil Engineering
Location: Midlands & Surrounding Areas (with regular site travel)
Salary: Competitive + Company Car or Car Allowance, Fuel Card

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure and groundworks projects. What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and performance reviews to monitor quality across multiple civil engineering projects.
• Work closely with project teams to establish and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Identify non-conformances, lead investigations, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Support operational and pre-construction teams with quality planning, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be the go-to person for all quality-related matters and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a Quality Management, QA/QC, or similar role within construction or civil engineering.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, quality documentation, and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and reporting skills.
• A full UK driving licence – this role involves regular site travel.
• Relevant quality, engineering or construction-related qualifications (preferred but not essential).
