Then look no further as my well-established client is looking out for an ambitious and ready-to-learn Graduate Civil Engineer, with a degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant UK industry experience of minimum 1+ years'.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supporting senior engineers in creating detailed designs for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, SuDs and water systems.
  • Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft and modify engineering drawings and plans.
  • Participating in field surveys and investigations to gather data for project planning and design.
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, inspections, and any changes to the design or construction plan.
  • Making sure that all projects comply with environmental regulations and local building codes.
  • Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and professionals to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Learning from more experienced engineers and, as experience grows, mentoring junior engineers or interns.

Successful candidate specifications:
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering (i.e. BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng/etc.). Preference will be given to candidates who are degree qualified with a MEng in Civil Engineering suitable for CEng status, but consideration will be given to candidates with an engineering related degree if they have relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Experience or demonstratable knowledge and interest in drainage, highways and earthworks design as well as project management
  • A good technical background and interest in the design of drainage, highways and earthworks design as well as project management
  • Experience of using relevant computer design and analysis softwares;
