JOB TITLE: Scheme/Residential Manager
LOCATION: Tolvaddon/St Austell
SALARY: £14.62/Hr
DURATION: 12 months

The Role:- Providing a high-quality service to older residents within a sheltered housing facility
- Visiting the Scheme at least once a week, providing advice to residents
- Dealing with tenancy issues and ensuring that communal areas are clean
- Arranging maintenance and repairs in the communal areas
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups
The Candidate should have:- Ability to reflect on working practices and provide ideas for improvement
- Ability to work effectively with key partners to deliver shared objectives.
- Experience of applying common sense to situations and the risks
- Experience of working within the social housing sector or providing services to older residents
- Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of issues relating to older people and provision of services in the locality
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain accurate records of information
- Ensures customer insight data is captured and feedback is listened to and acted upon to improve services.
- Ability to think ahead, to plan, prioritise and schedule activities to deliver organisational objectives.
- Committed to delivering quality work and meeting deadlines, making effective use of available resources.
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to assess the extent and scope of a given problem or issue and decide what action to take.

- Due to the nature of this role, a full valid UK driving licence is essential.
SUMMARY: This is part time role, working a 15 hour, 2 day week
This is initially a 12-month position
A DBS is required for this role at Enhanced – Adult/Children level
