Bid Manager – DevonRGB Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent contractor to seek a proficient Bid Manager in Devon. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in main contracting, demonstrating the ability to initiate and lead tasks and processes effectively. They must be willing to take responsibility and be accountable for their work and the roles of others, exercising autonomy and judgment within defined parameters.
As our client experiences continuous success and expansion, with numerous major projects underway and more on the horizon, they are keen to onboard an experienced Bid Manager for a permanent position. The selected candidate will oversee the bid qualification process for new opportunities and ensure strict adherence to the company's bidding policies. Responsibilities; - Establish a clear understanding of the client bid requirements/key deliverables and develop a win plan for the bid
- Obtain and distribute tender documentation to the bid team
- Arrange and chair tender launch meeting
- Manage the bid query process. Raise queries, obtain timely responses, and record
- Support bid teams when preparing for client meetings and interviews. Responsibility for preparing presentations and briefing the bid team
- Prepare Risk & Opportunity register. Responsible for populating in conjunction with input from bid team members
- Compile tender submission documentation
- Manage any post submission negotiation and/or dialogue, correspondence with Client team, through to conclusion
- Attend Bid Handover meetings, and brief delivery team to ensure all knowledge gained during tender period is communicated, including risk s and opportunities identified within the bid
