This position is ideal for an engineer who’s eager to work across a wide spectrum of project types and RIBA stages, from early-stage design through to technical delivery. - Delivering robust, compliant system designs using industry-standard software including CAD and Revit.
- Carrying out site-based activities such as surveys, inspections, and data collection to inform and refine the design process.
- Preparing calculations and documentation to demonstrate compliance with both client requirements and relevant legislation.
- Coordinating with other design professionals and contributing to the integration of services across projects.
- Attending meetings and design workshops, sharing insights and helping drive project delivery.
- Ensuring all solutions are aligned with current regulations, H&S standards, and best practice guidance.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in mechanical design for building services, with solid involvement across key RIBA design stages.
- Knowledge of BSRIA BG6 and other relevant industry frameworks.
- A qualification in Building Services Engineering (minimum HNC/HND, ideally degree-level).
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred; familiarity with IES or similar simulation tools would be a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
- Ambition to continue your professional development; support is available for chartership routes (EngTech, IEng, or CEng).
