JOB TITLE:         Asbestos Surveyor - Agency

LOCATION:       Exeter

SALARY:             £19.23 per hour

We currently have 2 openings to fill as, Asbestos Surveyors - Agency, within a housing environment,

The Role:

v  To carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys in customer properties to enable Client to meet legal requirements


v  To undertake single and multiple room surveys, roof and job specific surveys as well as full property management surveys


v  Preparing for and arranging customer appointments in their homes across allocated work area


v  Delivering a service to ensure all properties are meeting legal requirements, providing a high-quality level of care

 

 

The Candidate will need:


v  To hold a BOHS P402


v  To hold a BOHS P405


v  To hold a degree in a role related subject


v  To have a CIOB/CIH/RICS equivalent qualification in property surveying


v  Confidence in literacy and numeracy skillset


v  Experience in carrying out relevant surveys


v  An advanced level of knowledge regarding Health and Safety and Asbestos legislation


v  Experience in a similar role would be advantageous


v  Experience of Decent Homes Standard and Housing H&S Rating System

 

 

SUMMARY:

Working hours to 37 a week, Monday – Friday.

Expected Length of Contract is ASAP to end of February 2025

A Basic or Enhanced DBS check is required

A full driving licence is essential for this position

A company vehicle will be provided
