Class 2 Driver (Nights)

Location: Preston, Lancashire
Contract: Temporary, ongoing (hours and shifts per week will vary, depending on client workload)
Shifts: Nights only (22:00-01:00 starts), 8 hour - 10 hour shifts
Hourly Rate: £21.63 per hour

Our client is a much-loved brand, and due to an increase in demand, we are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to support their busy operation. 
 
About the HGV Class 2 Driver role
You will be responsible for moving parcels and mail across the North West. As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be an integral part of the business, spending a lot of time working independently on the road. We are looking for drivers with a ‘can-do’ attitude as interaction with the load will be required. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle

 Requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver include:

• All candidates must have held their Cat C licence for 2 years
• Valid in-date CPC 
• No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
• No more than 3 Tacho infringements (this will be checked prior to the assessment being booked)
