Internal Sales Person | Edinburgh | £35K | Builders Merchant
We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Person to join a well-established builders’ merchant in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sales experience in the construction supply sector who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Handling incoming sales enquiries and providing product advice
- Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up to close sales
- Proactively contacting customers to generate new business
- Supporting the external sales team with leads and account management
- Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times
- Maintaining accurate sales records and using CRM systems effectively
- Proven internal sales experience, ideally within a builders’ merchant or construction supply environment
- Strong product knowledge of building materials and related products
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Organised, proactive, and able to work in a busy sales office
- IT literate with experience using CRM/order management systems
