Salary: £15.28 per hour (Flat Rate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 19:30pm
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Temporary
Guaranteed 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Holidays are accrued on top of the hourly rate
Job Description: Pertemps Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (Unit work, not Tug) to work with a leading logistics company based in Morley, Leeds.
This is a day shift role with guaranteed hours, ideal for drivers seeking consistent weekday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move empty trailers onto loading bays at the start of shift
- Remove full trailers and replace with new empties throughout the day
- Operate safely and efficiently in a busy yard environment
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 12 months of HGV C+E driving experience
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid digital tachograph card
- £15.28 per hour (Flat Rate)
- 40 hours guaranteed per week
- Holidays accrued on top of pay
- Monday to Friday – no weekends
- Supportive, friendly driving team
