HGV C+E ADR Bulk Tanker Drivers

Pertemps have  exciting opportunities for  HGV C+E ADR Drivers to work for a large blue-chip company based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The company is the largest supplier of industrial gases and related equipment in the United Kingdom. The company offer continuous work related training which in most cases count towards driver CPC modules.

As a HGV C+E ADR Bulk Driver your duties will include:

Bulk delivery of liquefied cryogenic gases to customers in and around the local area.
Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client.

Candidates will attend a driving assessment & interview process with the client prior to selection, if successful you will receive full paid site induction and one-to-one training on-site ahead of undertaking your normal duties.

To be successful as a HGV C+E ADR Bulk Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

• A valid in date ADR licence with classification 2 (in Tanks) are essential
• Have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 3 years, for insurance purposes;
• Driving licence must not exceed 6 points or include CU80, DD, IN10 or DR10 endorsements, for insurance purposes
• Full In date CPC card & Digi card 

This is a temporary (ongoing) position on a full time basis, Days & Night shift patterns also including an occasional weekend rota as this is 7 day a week operation. Candidates may also be required to work away from home on occasion at other locations/depots as and when required.

Salary:

• A starting salary of: £21.14 per hour Days & £26.02 per hour Nights
• Weekend allowance: £115.02 paid on top of hourly rate (Plus £14.66 paid on top of the hourly pay rate for any hours worked over 8hrs)
• Bank Holiday allowance: £245.94 paid on top of hourly rate (Plus £14.66 paid on top of the hourly pay rate for any hours worked over 8hrs)
• Xmas Day Allowance If Required: £368.34 on top of hourly rate (Plus £14.66 paid on top of the hourly pay rate for any hours worked over 8hrs)
• Call Out allowance (Monday to Friday): £73.56 on top of hourly rate
• Call out allowance (Weekend): £36.86 on top of weekend allowance & hourly rate
• Breaks: Paid
• Nights Out: £65.24 1st Night & £86.65 2nd night plus (Taxable on anything paid over £30.00 pno)

Rate Increases after year 1 & any BOC national rate increases.

Holiday accrual: 25+ 8 bank holidays (rising to 26+ 8 bank holidays after 10 years)

All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.

On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher. You are enrolled into an optional Pension scheme that can be opted out.
