What’s on offer:
- Salary: £18-£20 per hour + standard benefits.
- Hours: Mon-Thurs- 7:00-17:15 or Mon-Thurs 7:00-15:30 and Friday 12:00 finish.
What will you be doing:
- Operate CNC machines to produce components according to precise engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and program machines using Fanuc controls to ensure optimal performance and meet tight tolerance requirements.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate closely with team members to optimise processes and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
What are we looking for:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in Fanuc controls, turning, programming, and machining low tolerance components.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative environment.
