As a Parcel Sorter, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and Unloading: Carefully handle and move large parcels from vehicles.
• Machine Operation: Work as part of a team to operate the parcel sort machine, contributing to efficient processing.
• Task Flexibility: Switch between tasks as needed to support the distribution process.
• Physical Tasks: Lift and carry items up to 30kg (about 32 bags of sugar).
• Endurance: Stand for extended periods throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For:

• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to handle heavy items.
• Previous experience in warehouse or sorting roles is a plus (particularly with companies like Amazon, DPD, DHL, or XPO).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• A positive, self-motivated attitude.
• A strong team player.

Pay Rates:

• £14.09 Day Shift. 
• £15.70 Afternoon.
• £16.28 Night Shift.

Shift Patterns:

• Day Shift: 07:30 to 17:00
• Late Shift: 12:00 to 20:00
• Night Shift: Start times will vary from 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 & 21:30 , finish times will vary depending on the operation latest is 04:00. 

Prior to starting you will be required to attend a 6 hour long induction.  The first hour will be the unpaid assessment, if you successfully pass this, you will move onto 2 hours classroom-based induction with a further test at the end. You will then required to go out & work on the floor for 3 hours, buddied up with someone.
