Role: Production Operator (Team Leader Opportunity)
Location: Dudley
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday- 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday- 7.30am to 3.30pm
Hourly Rate: £13ph to £14ph DOE

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced sorter/ production operator, to join our client based in Dudley. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and expand their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily sit operations and support site Manager.
Drive company van to transport products between sites.
Ensure all products and processes meet company quality standards.
Maintain accurate records and data entry using Excel.
Carry out basic administrative tasks – once training is completed.
Motivate and support co-workers.
Uphold and enforce safety procedures and company protocols.
Quality inspection
Picking and packing of products in preparation for dispatch and delivery.
Elements of manual handling – NO heavy lifting.

Successful candidates will have:

Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential – driving company van is a requirement).
Good level of spoken and written English.
Computer Literate—Microsoft office Packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Physically fit – elements of manual handling involved.
Organised and dependable with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Prior Team Leader experience is desirable but not essential.
