Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and other communal areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising touch points such as door handles, desks, and handrails.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Following all health & safety guidelines, COSHH regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
- An enhanced DBS check is essential due to the nature of the role.
- Two employment references.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Part-time position: 2 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
- £12.21 per hour
This role involves working in a school environment. The successful applicant will be required to complete all necessary safeguarding and compliance checks in line with school policies.
