Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Kettering
Salary: £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing until December

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves picking and packaging products for dispatch, booking goods into the system, and operating a forklift to move materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift truck to manage goods in and out, pick materials, and return items to their correct locations.
Process incoming goods accurately, identifying and reporting any missing, lost, or damaged items.
Prepare goods for courier collection, ensuring all items are safely and securely packed and labelled.
Pick orders correctly using the scanner system and notify supervisors of any issues.
Assist supervisors with stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory.
Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized.
Report equipment faults using the appropriate procedures and perform daily and weekly forklift checks.
Contribute ideas to improve warehouse efficiency and participate in team meetings.

Requirements

Valid Forklift License.
Ability to work independently and safely.
Reliable and committed, with availability to work ongoing.
