Pertemps are currently recruiting for Saw/Maintenance Operator for our client based in Kettering on a temp to perm basis.

An all-rounder required

1 set day of maintenance once a week and the rest is cutting on one of their saws.
Experience using cross-cut saws
Experience in maintenance of saws and woodworking machinery. i.e. blade changing
Forklift experience (training/certification will be provided if out of date but must have previous experience)
Using the work vehicles to drive to sites as and when required (will need to be 25 or over for insurance policy)
This hybrid role would involve weekly and monthly maintenance checks for all machinery and equipment, so the ideal candidates will be organised and able to manage their own workload.
Weekly saw blade changes
Weekly/Quarterly machine/compressor checks
Weekly/Monthly fire alarm/lighting checks
Weekly moisture meter calibration checks
Monthly LEV Checks
Maintaining all Dewalt Chop saws

Hours are 8am-4pm Mon-Fri

Pay - £13-£13-50ph
