Job Description
Duties include
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Troubleshoot any welding issues that arise during production.
- Proven experience in MIG welding of at least 4 years
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools related to welding and fabrication tasks.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay is £12.81 per hour with a £40 per week attendance bonus.
