Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (50-minute paid lunch break)
Salary: £25K - £45K DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Corby. This role is crucial in driving sales growth through proactive outbound calling and effective lead management. You will work closely with our Business Development Managers (BDMs) who are on the road, supporting their efforts by generating qualified leads and securing appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive Outbound Calling: Conduct high-volume cold calling to a provided database of leads, identifying potential customers and generating sales opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Accurately qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing conversion rates.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments for our BDMs, ensuring they have a consistent pipeline of potential clients.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, interactions, and lead information in our CRM system.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Product/Service Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the BDM team, providing support and feedback to optimize sales strategies.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in an internal sales or telemarketing role, preferably involving cold calling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Experience working with a BDM team is a plus.
