Site Manager to oversee works on a project based in Liverpool.
This role will see you taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
You’ll be managing site operations from start to finish – coordinating subcontractors, liaising with project managers, keeping programmes on track, and making sure standards are maintained throughout.
You’ll need to be confident leading teams on site, resolving issues as they arise, and keeping communication clear between all parties involved.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily site activity and manage subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered to programme and within budget
- Maintain high health & safety standards at all times
- Carry out regular site inspections and address any issues quickly
- Keep accurate site records and provide progress updates
- Work closely with the wider project team to ensure smooth delivery
- Identify and manage risks before they impact the project
Essential Requirements
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid at Work certificate
- 5–7 years’ experience as a Site Manager within construction
- Strong understanding of site processes and H&S regulations
- Proven experience managing multiple trades
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
